Goa: I’m Loving It

Goa: I’m Loving It.

My plan to Goa was executed in a very short span. We all decided one fine day that we’ll visit Goa, so in 3 days we booked and got ready for it. Believe me, it was the best time ever… it was just Wow!!!

The Sunset at Baga Beach

The best time is Oct-Feb to Visit Goa it’s comparatively Livelier and cooler.

Phase 1:

How did we plan the trip?

First step was Flight tickets. We searched for tickets on incognito mode (else the sites increases charges on multiple visits).

Flights were booked from Make my trip since it was offering 20% discount/ ticket. So kindly check the sites like Yatra, Make my trip, Goibibo etc. for discount before booking the tickets. Our tickets were around 11000/PP. We took flight from IGI airport N. Delhi.

How to reach Goa?

It is well connected by Railroad, roadways and flight.

Phase 2:

Place to stay?

We decided to rent a flat instead of hotel since it’s cheaper. We wanted to book a property where all the chaos is, so we booked it near Baga Beach on North side of Goa. If you’re looking for a silent abode then South side would be preferable like Colva Beach etc.

We booked it from booking.com and it was a Treebo’s property with a pool. What else could we ever want?

Check all the sites before booking you never know what deals you might get:

  • Make my trip
  • Yatra
  • Booking.com
  • Goibibo
  • AirBNB

Goa is full of budget flats, sharing hostels to luxury hotels you could book anything according to your finances. Starting from budget hostels 2-3k to Luxury hotels/beach houses of 80-90K for 3 days

After our flight and accommodations were done we proceeded to the next and most important step… Shopping

Phase 3:

Shopping….Yeaah!!!

We shopped for:

  • Cotton T-shirts
  • Shorts
  • Sunscreen (a lot of it)
  • Few beach dresses
  • Tote beach bag
  • Anti-tanning peel off and pack (Skin Care is Essential in Goa)
  • Flip flops
  • Swimsuit
  • Sarong/wrap around

And we were all set for Goa.

Straw hat we purchased when we reached Goa. It’s a must.

The final phase i.e.

Phase 4:

Enjoying Goa:

We enjoyed Goa to its fullest we started with hiring a Scooty (approx 700/- they keep ID as security)  and rushed to Baga Beach. We took a recliner for the whole day and lounged on it in front of Britto’s Shack (its strawberry Tart is to die for) by evening the music and party vibes were palpable in us.

We enjoyed:

  • Massage
  • Hair Braiding
  • Temporary Tattoo

Followed by water sports like (ranging from 500-2000/-) Negotiate and bargain:

  • Jet sky ride
  • Banana boat ride
  • Bumper Ride
  • Para-sailing (I was too scared to try it)

Our itinerary in Goa was:

Day 1:

  • Baga Beach
  • Tuesday Market
  • Shiva’s Party (Night from 11-overnight on Tuesday)

Day 2:

  • Candolim Beach
  • Water sports
