When I think of Chopta the thoughts that pop up in my mind are green lush valleys, chimes of bells of TungNath temple and peeking cloud-covered peak of Chandrashila. Like many unexplored places in Uttarakhand this place to lies like untouched, unexploited beauty. It's readily becoming known for its scenic view, camping, hiking and for devotees of Lord Shiva because of its proximity to TungNath temple. It's the highest located temple in the world of Lord Shiva, TungNath lying at height of 3,680 m (12,073 ft).

I traveled to the Maldives in Dec 2011. I was excited to start the adventure but I was slightly nervous too. My trip to the Maldives was planned suddenly but everything got finalized in the span of 2-3 weeks. My booking, luggage all was set and within no time I was waiting in IGI Terminal-3 for my flight boarding from New Delhi. It was the peak of winters in Delhi and I was loaded with 2 layers of winterwear and equipped with my travel guide of the Maldives, I headed towards the equator
I love traveling, exploring new places, enjoying the scenic views, varied heritage and customs they all are exhilarating to me. I'm one of that woman who runs off on weekends with my car and my phone. Though I travel alone I do take precautions to make my drive and journey safe.
