We’re trying to adapt to a Healthy Lifestyle, which is an improvement for us. Let’s take a note on healthy drinks. The healthy drinks are which boost our metabolism. Some even have a promising effect on weight but most of them are healthy because:

  • Boosting the metabolic rate of the body.
  • Aiding digestive system.
  • Providing anti-oxidants.
  • Aiding detoxification of the body.

What healthy drinks to take to boost metabolism?

Lukewarm water with Lemon, Ginger & Honey:

It’s a very old recipe but it works. It should be included in our routine to take a glass of lukewarm water with lemon, ginger, and honey. Ginger aids the digestive system and lemon has Vitamin C which is a detoxifying agent and it helps the body in detox.

1 Glass of Lukewarm water

½ Lemon

Small piece of ginger (crushed)

1 tsp honey

Green tea with Mint/Lemon:

Green tea has recently taken our country in the storm. It has caffeine which acts as a stimulant and makes us energetic. It even has Catechins which has fat mobilizing property so few studies have linked green tea with weight loss too.

Mint aids in digestion so it helps the body in digestion.

1 cup of hot water

2 tsp green tea leaves

5-6 mint leaves

Add Honey /Jaggery/ Brown sugar for sweetening if required.
