Getting inked had always been my fascination but the after effects scare me. I am waiting for the day I overcome my fears. But hearing it from the doctor just reinstates my faith in tattoos. Thank u for writing this. 🙂

do get it done, you’ll love it
I have been thinking of getting a tattoo since quite some time now, but can’t make up my mind, or gather my guts to go ahead! Let’s see, someday I might just go ahead and do it on an impulse! But, I will remember these points you shared here. Thanks Richa!
The list of diseases is enough for me to stay away from it. Although I do admire tatoos. They are beautiful artform and a way of expression for many people. I love the small ones more… Specially the ones that have a lot of meaning attached to it. Wonderfully written article.
the list of diseases are for awareness, don’t get scared if you like getting inked then do get a tattoo
I am seriously thinking of getting one, but I might just settle for a temporary tattoo. The risks are too many and with sensitive skin, I am nervous. I love that tattoo of the cage and bird. So pretty. Some of my friends have extensive tattoos and I admire them even as I know I’ll never get there!
go for it vidya, get a temporary one done if you like it then convert it into permanent tattoo.
Both my sisters have very cool tattoos but I am on the fence regarding getting one. I like the pointers you have shared. Agree with you that one should give a deep thought regarding the meaning/design etc before having one, because it’s something that will be with you for life.
If you want it, go get it. I have two tattoos on my body and i love them. I was not quick getting them done though. I have been thinking for a while and got my first tattoo with my husband. He got one too. We got our tattoos on our wrists. I was brave enough to get another one after few years near my neck and love that
