In season 4 of My Friend Alexa 2019, I’ll be covering my personal favorite novels on the romance genre.
I’m a Die-Hard fan of romantic novels and few genres are my favorite. You’ll always find me hooked up to a few series even for revision. After my years of reading, I finally decided to share them. Let’s start with Fantasy Romance Novels.
City of Bones
Mortal instrument by Cassandra Clare
This novel series is about Shadow hunters who fight to get rid of demons on Earth. Clary soon gets pulled into their fight when she witnessed a murder and her mother disappears. She meets Jace who looks like an angel and saves her life in a demon attack.
The series is very interesting and it will keep you hooked till you finish them all.
Angel’s Blood
Guild Hunter Series by Nalini Singh
This series starts with Angel’s Blood where Elena gets hired by Archangel Raphael who’s a very dangerous adversary. Elena is the best Vampire tracker but she has to track a renegade Archangel, in this contract, there was very little chance to escape unsinged because Raphael is known for his disdain towards humankind.
Magic Bites
Kate Daniel Series by Ilona Andrews
The novel is a futuristic prediction of the world which has faced the shift from technology towards magic and Post shift magic comes in waves drowning the technology in it. Kate has magic which she is hiding from everyone but her guardian gets murdered. Kate is working with the Order to find the murderer where she meets Curran a Werelion who helps her unravel the mystery.
The constant banter and the chemistry of Kate and Curran are hilarious. It’ll keep you hooked up to the end.
Dragon Bound
Elder Races by Thea Harrison
The novel is based on Wyr ancient creatures who have the ability to turn into ancient beings. Pia Half Wyr Half Fae steals something precious from Dragos. Dragos tracks Pia and they both end up in a world of magic with Goblins, Dark Fae. Everyone had one motive to kill them.
The chemistry between both is like a live wire, the novel is exhilarating and romantic at the same time. I totally loved it.
Magic in the Wind
Drake Sisters by Christine Feehan
Damon has come to reside in a quiet town and ever since he’s been hearing the whispers “Sarah is Back”. Sarah was shrouded with superstition and mystery which made him curious. The Hilltop house which was in ruins was full of flowers and welcoming vibes welcomes him inside. When fate is binding them together they can to do nothing else than surrender.
This is the first of the series of Drake sisters with each one having the power of her own.
This is my favorite novels in the Fantasy Romance genre.

I am not a fan of Cassandra Clare, though I admit that I love the shadowhunter world she has built. It had so much potential.
Ilona Andrews is on my TBR for a while… Seems like about time I should get to them.

I don’t read novels but I like romantic movies like every girl.
I like few names like last one Magic In The Wind. The story also looks interesting as per you description here.
Magic in the Wind is good novel and the whole series is amazing
I do read fiction & suspense. But after reading this post, the romance genre too looks quite interesting. Will be surely reading few out of the list.

You have an interesting list there. Although I pick up a romance novel occasionally, I rarely pick one from the fantasy-romance genre. Will definitely check these out.
