The moment someone talks about fantasy novel series few novels just pop in your mind instantly. Today I’m going to share my top 10 list of Best Fantasy Novel Series.
Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling
The series has captured a lot of audience both readers and movie followers. It’s an epic movie series in itself.
Lord of The Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien
Who hasn’t heard about the Epic series of Lord of the Rings? Even it’s prequel was the most awaited series “The Hobbit”. The movie was so well made that the Audience was not at all disappointed with the visual effects.
Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer
The novel is a romance story of a Vampire (Edward Cullen) and a teenage girl (Bella), where Edward is dedicated and wants to protect Bella at any cost. The movie was also a blockbuster and it’s worth watching.
Kate Daniel series by Ilona Andrews
This novel is based on a magical world where humans are dealing with the re-emergence of the magical world over the technology and Kate Daniel a mercenary with old magic trying to survive by hiding meets Curran a werelion. The series is totally captivating.
Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost
The series is a romance novel of a Vampire Bones with a Demi-Vampire Cat who was mentored by Bones for killing bad vampires. It’s hilarious and keeps you on your toes all the time.
Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan
This is a series written on Demigods who have a training academy where they’re safe from demons. The series would make you walk through Heaven and Hell literally. You’ll be taken to a different world altogether of Zeus, Poseidon, Hades fight with Artemis, Aries. it’ll make you addicted to the series
Mortal Instrument by Cassandra Clare
This novel series is about Shadow hunters who fight to get rid of demons on Earth. Clary soon gets pulled into their fight when she witnessed a murder and her mother disappears. She meets Jace who looks like an angel and saves her life in a demon attack. The story becomes slow in the third novel then it picks up pace again. It’s a beautifully written novel.
Dark series by Christine Feehan
This novel is based on the Carpathians who mates once in a life. The Carpathian are born with special powers and they’re sensitive to light. This series is full of alpha males and strong females fighting there way from bad vampires and saving the world.
Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin
Game Of Thrones Ahhhh… I’m not even getting into the discussion of the Finale. The novel and the series have been in limelight lately and it’s worth reading no matter what the ending has been.
Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Well Well.. let’s talk about Katniss and Peeta from District Panem and let the 74th Hunger Games begin… They won the game and started a rebellion against the Capitol. Read this captivating series to know the grand finale in Mockingjay.

One of my favourite genres. Thanks for the consolidated list. I have read most of them. Somehow, Twilight did not work for me. I am re-reading(?) the Harry Potter series as an audio book and completely enjoying it.

This list reminded me when I first watched Twilight series and then bought the novel. My husband only rented the CD on the recommendation of that seller only. And then there was no looking back.

Good list. But like all lists it is controversial because it misses some of my favourites! I guess Alice in Wonderland and 100 years of solitude should figure prominently for very different reasons! Nevertheless a courageous effort! Bash on regardless!

I am so much into fantasy novel, many of these are new to me thank for sharing… My favorite are song of ice and fire, Percy Jackson, Lord of the rings and twilight.. .though I found twilight a bit dramatic when I watched Vampire diaries….
