#CauseAChatter #MentalHealth

Life is harder and at times harder times hit hard enough that it seems difficult to go on. Life is hard enough to deal with but due to the ongoing epidemics, life has become harder for a few people. People have faced adversities during these times and were unable to cope with them too.

  • Loss of loved ones
  • Separations and break-ups
  • Financial losses in terms of business and jobs
  • The constant threat of being ill
  • The support system of friends and family disrupted due to the lockdown
  • Scarcity of resources

We all have faced these and it’s difficult to move on when the “Bad Time” keeps going on.

At times small positive thoughts help you emerge from the dark place you’ve submerged yourself in. Take one step at a time and soon it will be easier.

Even the bad things end.

No matter how long you think the adversities are even they will end and that thought is enough to continue on even when it’s very difficult. Matters might be difficult or no solution is in the sight but sooner or later solution would come and you just have to wait for the right time.

You’ve survived adversities before.

It might seem like the worst time ever but you’ve emerged out of lots of dark times in your life so this would pass too.

Your strength is your power.

You might feel helpless with the situation when it’s not in your hands but you have the power to change your destiny and you will. Never feel that it’s the end, every end is the beginning of new tomorrow just hold on to your strength.

It’s ok not to be ok.

There are bad days in everyone’s life and it’s ok to feel low you don’t have to pretend to be happy. It’s ok to feel low at times.

Overthinking makes matters worst.

Let go of things and relax, take a deep breath. Do not think about matters that are not in your hands and just let them be. Overthinking never helps. Just sleep it off or meditate or indulge in your hobbies. You might see a solution when you have a relaxed mind.

Positive vibes only

Feeling positive doesn’t remove your problems but makes them easier to handle. Positivity brings out the best in the situation so be positive always.

Trust yourself and your decisions.

It’s easy to lose faith in ourselves and doubt the decisions we’ve made in the past when the time is not right. The decisions we made were the right decision at that time because we were living it at that moment, it’s easy to speculate when the time has passed so trust yourself and believe in your decisions.

Don’t try and control every aspect of your life.

It’s easy to try and rein the chaos by trying to control things around us but we should control the urge because there’s no end to the path it would lead. We can’t control everything just our actions. We should just keep a calm and grounded mind so that we don’t overindulge in the situation.

Find a healthy outlet.

Things could be frustrating and depressing when things are not going right in life. It’s always good to indulge in some activity that could boost your spirits. Indulge in hobbies

  • Gym
  • Dancing
  • Gardening
  • Drawing/ Carving
  • Traveling
  • Movies and much more

Explore the things you always wanted to do. You’ll meet like-minded people and interacting with them might divert your mind off the issues.
