Gurgaon or Gurugram is a name well-known by all, it has “village” incorporated in it but believe me there’s nothing rural in the city. It’s a developing hub for IT and corporate sector that has always attracted people for career growth. This city has a heart of its own, it’s open for everyone and the city embraces them in warm welcome. Gurgaon is a city that is full of life and diversity.
People migrate here to fulfill their dreams and this city doesn’t disappoint them.
[Tweet “Gurgaon is a city with rough edges but a loving heart.”]
I shifted to Gurgaon in 2018 and I’ve fallen in love with it. I’ve seen the welcoming city in the rigor of work in the day and wild with party vibes in the night. I’ve lived in both urban villages i.e. Old Gurgaon then the contrasting modern Gurgaon or the New Gurgaon. One thing I love most in Gurgaon is the amazing food. I’m a foodie to the core & I love spicy food. So today I’m going to share my favorite food list of Gurgaon that I’ve explored till now.
I can bet that my list would be mouthwatering to the core:
Khansama Express:
Table of Contents
It’s an amazing place for both veg and non-veg dishes. I’ve tried Dal makhani in veg and both chicken and mutton dishes and I couldn’t decide which one is better.
I’d recommend chicken masala or rogan josh for non-veg fans
Beeji De Chole Bhature
If you’re a fan of Chole Bhature then you ought to try it. You’ll fall in love with the innovation in the Bhature and Chole.
Achari Chole Bhature is my favorite.
Momopoly by Little Skillet
I first time had the pleasure of getting the taste of momo’s at Sikkim stall at Delhi Haat in 2001, since then I’ve fallen in love with the spicy sauce and momo’s. nowadays many variations of momo’s are available you could taste them at Momopoly. My personal favorite is Tandoori Chicken Momos.
Wat-a-Burger
After the fall of mighty Mc Donalds I tried many outlets but I instantly fell in love with wat-a-burger it has so many varieties and tastes if just yummy. My recommendation is Spicy Chilly Lava Burger
Rolls Mania
My mouth is watering just thinking about Bhuna Chicken Roll. The rolls are very filling and tasty to the core.
Crepe-Fe
Nutella Waffle is a must-try from this place. I’ve fallen in love with the dish.
Keventer’s
Who hasn’t heard of shakes of Keventer’s?
I tasted shake the first time in Cannaught place during my college days, even the ice creams are yummy. If you’re a chocolate fan then do try Death by Chocolate.
Gohana
Gohana is famous for its jalebi but do try the Aloo Poori it’s very crispy and spicy you’ll love it.
Chaayos
The breakfast options of chaos like poha/ upma/ paratha are also great when combined with Masala Chai or filter coffee.
Norenj Cafe
I use to enjoy the breakfast buffet of Norenj but after lockdown, I’ve started ordering from the place. Norenj has amazing dishes both continental and Indian. You’ll fall in love with the burst of flavors in the food.
Nirula’s Ice cream
This place introduced me to hot Chocolate fudge decades ago and I still am in love with it. Every time I order HCF, it’s a trip down memory lane… all good memories. It’s my comfort food.
For now, I’m ending my list at this but I’ll be back with more soon. Be hooked to my blog for more.
