Timber Trail is a beautiful escape from the daily routine life of work and stress. You’ll fall in love with the beautiful hilltop property in Parwanoo, Himachal Pradesh. The view of the mountain and valley from the resort is mesmerizing. The property is located on Shimla-Chandigarh Highway, it’s a roadside property & a perfect weekend getaway from NCR.
The advantage of this property is its accessibility from Chandigarh, it’s just 40 minutes from there. Roadside property Timber Trail with parking facility, ropeway for the resort would take you to Timber Trail Heights & Moksha Resort. Although Timber Trail Resort is a newer property Timber Trail Heights & Moksha Resort is better because of its location on the hilltop.

Timber Trail Heights
It’s a great resort for taking a break from the daily chaotic life. The link to the property is by Cable car, the route is of 8 minutes but the view is amazing. The staff and reception of the resort are very helpful and accommodating.
What I loved most was the restaurant its location at the edge of the mountain range overviewing the valley. The trail and gardens are beautiful and the weather has just a slight chill in it to make it wonderful.
Things to do In Resort:
- Relax & enjoy the view
- Enjoy the food
- Spa
- Walk on the trail
The place is beautiful & the ambiance is wonderful. It has a relaxing feel which would make your stay more wonderful.
I would recommend a trip of at least 2 days to enjoy the place.
Cons:
- Slightly costly property so keep an eye on the deals before booking it.
- Only a single trip of the cable car is paid so if you’ve to travel again then cable ride is chargeable 1100/-.
- Keep all the necessary things with you since you might not get them on the resort
- Network Reception is horrible & WIFI is chargeable
- The nuisance of monkeys is there so kindly avoid keeping the balcony doors open for your own safety.
Things to take there:
- Camera
- Batteries
- Warm clothes
- Sunscreen
- Wear sunglasses to protect your eyes
Enjoy your stay there.
